Operators Using the Software
Over a hundred casinos are operated by Microgaming and operators included in their portfolio are Carmen Media Group, 32Red, Golden Star Lounge, Vegas Partner Lounge, Fortune Lounge Group and more importantly, Ladbrokes who have partnered with Microgaming Poker Network and are offering $1 million jackpots each month with effect from February 2009.
Over the last five years, very few Microgaming powered casinos have gone out of business. This is a testament to Microgaming's strict criteria when issuing licenses for its software. Microgaming has recently targeted big name brands and signed up the likes of Ladbrokes, the biggest bookmaker in the world.
Other Products
A number of Microgaming casinos operate mobile online casinos using the company's mobile casino product.
An affiliated company also provides online poker gaming under the banner Microgaming Poker and includes Texas Hold'Em and five and seven card stud - formerly this company was known as Prima Poker though the name for this style of play continues to be used operationally and particularly as they sponsor the Monte Carlo Millions poker competition. In 2008, Microgaming also launched a bingo product.
Microgaming is closely aligned with the independent industry watchdog, eCOGRA, who certify operators and regularly test their player protection processes and ensure they follow fair and transparent practices when it comes to player information and financial transactions.
